Have you ever thought about hosting your wedding and/or reception or event on the beautiful grounds of the Champlain Trail Museum and Pioneer Village?

The museum's historic pioneer church fits approximately 70 guests for a perfectly intimate ceremony and the museum's beautiful grounds set the scene for a romantic reception or gathering of nearly any size. Now your guests can have the opportunity to explore the museum and other buildings before and after the ceremony (dependent on volunteer availability). Museum Grounds Rental (Reception Area)

$100.00 per hour

Church Rental for Ceremony


Founders Hall & Outbuildings Rental $150.00 per hour

Table Rentals (per table)

$10.00 per table

Chair Rentals (8 chairs)


Additional Museum Visits


* In lieu of a security deposit we require information of a valid credit card that will be used if necessary. Any extra staffing, maintenance, set up or clean-up costs incurred, or any damage to the Mill building, artifacts, and general contents, will be charged to your credit card at the discretion of the Champlain Trail Museum and Pioneer Village.

** Full Payment is due upon booking.  Cancellations are accepted, with a 50% refund, up to 90 days prior to the event. 

*** Additional costs and fees are at the discretion of the Champlain Trail Museum & Pioneer Village/OVHS management and may be negotiated with the Curator prior to the wedding/event; all fees will be clearly outlined in the final invoice.

**** All payments must be made at minimum a week prior to the wedding/event at the latest.
