Programs

The Champlain Trail Museum and Pioneer Village offers interactive on-site and offsite educational programs for schools, daycares, scout and girl guide groups and retirement homes. We also offer "Museum in a Box" education kits for parents to rent for their kids or for teachers to rent for their classes.
Virtual Museum Field Trips

Virtual Field Trips are available in the following themes:
- Early Settlers (Gr. 3-6)
- The Fur Trade and Environmental Sustainability (Gr. 4-8)
- Festivals of Light (Christmas Seasonal Presentation)
Cost is $100.00 for a 1 hour program

Education Programs
The Champlain Trail Museum and Pioneer Village offer several unique educational programs for school and homeschool groups. These programs link directly with Ontario curriculum requirements for grades 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 and Quebec curriculum Cycles 2 & 3.
"Museum in a Box" Education Kits
These kits are offered for families to rent for $15 a week per child.
Scout and Guide Programs
The Museum offers tours with activities that allow scouts and guides to fulfill their badge requirements for specific program areas.
