The Upper Ottawa Valley Heritage Centre (formerly the Champlain Trail Museum) is holding A Heritage Christmas event at the museum on November 27th, 2022. From 11:00 am to 3:00 p.m., tour Founders Hall in the main building, visit the schoolhouse and pioneer church and start your Christmas shopping by supporting local vendors! Admission is free! There will be a raffle draw, carollers and Santa will be on hand to take pictures with the kids. This year we will also be having an Ugly Christmas Sweater contest. The Upper Ottawa Valley Heritage Centre is the largest Museum in Renfrew County with more than 10,000 artifacts among its collection. Located in Pembroke, the Museum is owned and operated by the Ottawa Valley Historical Society and is funded by the municipalities of Pembroke and Laurentian Valley.
